There’s method in the madness.
I go into the organisation. I learn how it runs, where it is, and where it wants to go. Then I ask what if. Broad first: the ceiling, and what else is possible. Then specific: the steps.
It is a way of thinking, not a script. I am better beside people who know the work. They know what will hold.
How I work
Three moves.
- 01
Visualise
I go in and learn how it runs, where it is, and where it wants to go. One picture of the whole, not a corner of it.
- 02
Realise
What if. The broad look. Which ceiling is worth going after, and which picture can wait.
- 03
Strategize
Then it gets specific. The steps, and a way of looking at the work that still makes sense after I have gone.
What you leave with
A short list of what to do, and a way of looking at the work that still makes sense after I have gone.
Not a long report that sits in a drawer. Not a plan to replace your people. Not AI because it is available.
Questions
A first session is half a day. A fuller piece of work usually runs over a few weeks. It depends on the organisation.
No. I start with what the organisation can actually do. The useful move is the one that can be made.
Not unless that is the problem. Sometimes the answer is technology, or a clearer message. Often it is a simpler way of working.

Bring one problem.
I’ll look at what else is possible.
